Responsible for the creation and delivery of career development workshops/seminars for both large and small groups of business students, along with participating as a team member in special events such as career fairs, advisory board meetings and professional development events This may include the creation of the course syllabus, course timeline, required content, presentations, and other aspects associated with the curriculum of the class. Responsible for teaching GEB2015 (Intro to Business) and/or GEB 4930 (Heavener Career Accelerator) during select times of the year to undergraduate business students. This also includes gathering, tracking, and ensuring that students complete employment surveys and that internship and full-time employment data is captured in HIREWarrington. Maintain updated records of meetings with business students, including such things as students' career advancement activities, employment activities, networking contacts and all information related to the student's career development. This will be accomplished by ensuring proactive job applications are being executed by the student in such areas as HIREWarrington, job boards of both national career fairs and local UF Career Fairs, company job boards and other independent job boards that are available. Responsible and accountable for the direct placement of Warrington College of Business undergraduate students into internships and/or full-time job opportunities. Proactively prospect new companies of interest for our business students for which this person, in conjunction with the Director of Undergraduate Business Career Services for the Warrington College of Business, can actively pursue and cultivate strong recruiting partnerships with. Support the Employer Development function by assisting in building and maintaining productive recruiting relationships with major corporations from around the world. This also includes resume and cover letter critiquing, mock interview critiquing career assessment assistance, and job/internship offer negotiation assistance. ![]() Such planning, coaching, and advising includes, but are not limited to career development/job search strategy planning and monitoring. Serve as a key point of contact for Warrington College of Business undergraduate students in providing one-on-one career planning, advising, and coaching assistance.
